Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases organized in 1934. The founder of the department is

Professor M.SBragin.

Since 2012 – the module of Dermatology and Venereology.

Work on the module – 4 associate professors, 3 assistants, 2 resident. The module being educational, methodical, scientific, clinical and educational work. Clinical bases of the module are: Research Institute for Skin and Venereal Diseases, regional and municipal STI clinic.
Dermatovenerology module teaches the following subjects: “Dermatology” – 4 course “General Medicine”, an integrated elective discipline “Algorithm diagnosis of diseases that occur with the syndrome exanthema and enantio” 5 course “General medicine” elective cycle “Infectious dermatoses in practice gynecologist” internship, “Venereology” Internship specialty «General Medicine».
Employees module actively participate in the activities of international and republican values, annual plan and conduct conferences and workshops with the participation of professors from near and far abroad. Dermatovenerology module is guided by state educational standards and other regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of higher education, orders and directives of the Ministry of Education and Science, orders and directives of the Rector KazNMU them. S.D Asfendiyarov, the decisions of the Academic Council and the Academic Council of the Graduate School of Medicine, as well as the Regulation on the module.
